A Teacher Connection is the Peace Center’s liaison to participating Upstate elementary, middle, and high schools. Collectively, Teacher Connections make up a network of educators who are committed to sharing what’s happening in the Peace Outreach Program with the rest of their school community.
By establishing one teacher as a link to each school, this program increases awareness of what the Peace Outreach Program has to offer for students and educators alike. Teacher Connections make it possible for the Peace Center to reach nearly 55,000 community members every season through school performances, teacher workshops, artist residencies and other special programs.
