CAMP BROADWAY coming to the Peace Center in July 2012!

Professional Development for Teachers-Using Puppetry to Teach Science

Don't miss this exciting show for young audiences: Southern Voices!

PARENTS: Enjoy the arts with your kids on Presidents' Day and check out Ball in the House on February 20th.

It’s a fact that access and involvement with the arts improves the quality of life in a community, and the Peace Center is pleased to offer many opportunities for engagement in the arts through our outreach programs. Offered as extensions of performances presented by the Peace Center, community outreach events vary from season to season, with opportunities to include master classes with renowned artists, creative workshops, Peace Talks and various other opportunities to experience the arts.

Our Peace Talks series engages the Peace Center’s audience through conversation. Through a pre-show or post-show discussion, an exciting lecture or a collaborative panel discussion, Peace Talks offer a behind-the-scenes look at the shows featured on the Peace Center’s stage as we explore the artists and art forms that have made each show a success.

Read below to keep up with the latest educational outreach opportunities with the Peace Center.

For additional information about Peace Talks and other outreach events, please contact Staci Koonce.
