The Peace Outreach Program, a nationally recognized arts education initiative, fulfills a critical part of The Peace Center’s overall mission. Each year, the program serves nearly 55,000 students, teachers and community members from across Upstate South Carolina, as well as parts of Georgia and Western North Carolina through its youth performance series, community outreach events and professional development programs for educators.

The largest single component of the Peace Outreach Program is the annual performance series for public, private and home-school groups. These curriculum-based programs help students experience literature, history, and science through the performing arts, giving them a whole new way to think about what they’re learning in school. For every show, the Education department creates a study guide with pre and post show activities, lesson plans and information about the performance.

PLEASE NOTE: Ticket orders for school groups must be submitted in writing using the ticket order form. You may DOWNLOAD A TICKET ORDER FORM HERE. Individual orders may contact the Box Office directly. All performances are general seating and open to the public, ages three and over. Please contact Staci Koonce at 864.679.9203 or skoonce@peacecenter.org with any questions.

Please review our attendance policies prior to your trip to the Peace Center.
