Peace Center Adds Second Show To Jerry Seinfeld Perfromance!

Due to popular demand, Peace Center officials have added a second show to the recently announced Jerry Seinfeld performance on Friday, March 14. The 7:00 p.m. show announced last week has sold out and a second show has been added at 9:30 p.m.

America's premier comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, will perform his signature stand-up routine at the Peace Center on Friday, March 14 at 7 p.m. Seinfeld has been hailed for his uncanny ability to joke about the little things in life that relate to audiences everywhere. Seinfeld now sets his sights on performing both nationally and internationally in 2014.

Ricky Skaggs, Bruce Hornsby and Bill Maher Coming To the Peace Center In February
Tickets for both performances are on sale to Peacekeepers. Tickets go on sale to the general public Saturday, November 16 at 10:00 a.m. at all official Peace Center ticket outlets.
Some of the biggest names in music and comedy have been signed to perform in February at the Peace Center for the Performing Arts. On February 5, bluegrass tour de force Ricky Skaggs with Kentucky Thunder performs alongside the multi-talented and multi-Grammy Award winning musician Bruce Hornsby. Two weeks later, the popular and often cheeky comedian, television host and best-selling author Bill Maher makes a return engagement on Saturday, February 22.

Peace Center Receives $75,000 Gift From The Duke Energy Foundation
Gift will support arts education and performances for students, teachers and the community.
The Peace Center for the performing Arts announced today a $75,000 gift from the Duke Energy Foundation for its Peace Outreach Program. The donation will support the nationally recognized arts education program that serves nearly 55,000 students, teachers and community members from across Upstate South Carolina, as well as part of Georgia and Western North Carolina.
"The Peace Center is most grateful to the Duke Energy Foundation for this extremely generous gift," said Peace Center President Megan Riegel. "The Peace Outreach Program plays a critical role in our mission of offering special educational and community events throughout the year to foster a deeper understanding and greater enjoyment of the performing arts."

Rising Stars Johnnyswim To Perform at The TD Stage In October

The Peace Center for the Performing Arts announced today that Johnnyswim, VH1's first-ever "You Oughta Know+" artist, will perform at the TD Stage at the Peace Center on the banks of the Reedy River in downtown Greenville on Wednesday, October 2 at 7:30 p.m. Seating begins at 6:30 p.m.

Elie Wiesel Cancels Peace Center Appearance
Citing health reasons, October 1st appearance cancelled.
Citing health reasons, the Elie Wiesel appearance scheduled at the Peace Center for October 1 has been cancelled. Professor Wiesel's lecture was being presented by the Peace Center in celebration of the Year of Altruism.

After 40 years of making music, selling millions of records and performing for fans all over the world, country music's most famed group ALABAMA is coming to the Peace Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. as part of their Back to the Bowery Tour
. The tour, which kicked off in April, is a celebration of the band's 40th anniversary and their very first concert at The Bowery nightclub in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
