Calling all Broadway bound teens!
Join critically acclaimed New York City-based singer Corinna Sowers Adler in a weeklong performance intensive for musical theatre/vocal arts. Students will hone skills in all performance areas, including acting while singing, musicality, harmony, blocking, and movement. The intensive culminates in a performance of SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL, where students will perform alongside Adler in featured small groups and solos
What is Cabaret?
Cabaret is a form of theatrical entertainment featuring music, song, dance recitation, drama and audience engagement.
When is the Intensive?
The weeklong intensive runs June 19-23, 2023, from 10 am to 4 pm daily.
Who is eligible to apply?
Talented teens ages 13-18 who have an interest in drama, dance, musical theatre and vocal arts.
How much does the intensive cost?
The cost for this one-week intensive is $500, which includes camp materials (vocal tracks and musical scores), snacks and lunch for the duration as well as a cast dinner night-of show, and swag (t-shirt and totes).

How do I apply?
To begin the process, complete the application LINKED HERE, which also asks for an audition tape (.mp4) singing 16-32 bars of a musical theatre piece or song of your choosing by Friday, March 24, 2023.
Applications and audition tapes will be reviewed by Corinna Sowers Adler and students who are accepted into the program will be notified via email. All accepted students will be invited to a virtual meet & greet with Corinna Sowers Adler on Tuesday, April 11, at 6 pm.

About Corinna Sowers Adler
Five-time Tony Award nominee for Excellence in Theatre Education, Corinna Sowers Adler will lead this Cabaret intensive. Since making her solo New York City Cabaret debut in 2010 at the Laurie Beechman Theater in “Stories...A Cabaret,” Adler has been in high demand.
She is the Founding Artistic Director of NiCori Studios & Productions, an organization dedicated to bringing Theatre and Vocal Arts Education programing and performance to the next generation of the American Songbook. Past musicals include: Into The Woods, Seussical, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Shrek, Urinetown, Drowsy Chapperone, Children of Eden, Chicago, Avenue Q to name a few.
