Hamilton FAQs

How to Buy

Please read all processes and FAQs in their entirety.

There is a four (4) ticket limit per account.

When tickets go on sale, prices will range from $95 to $200 with premium seats at $379.50 for select performances.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, Sept. 8, at 10 AM, and there are two ways to purchase:

  1. In person at the Peace Center Box Office, located at 300 S. Main St. in Downtown Greenville
  2. The Peace Center’s website at tickets.peacecenter.org/Hamilton.

Being in line online or in person does not guarantee that you will have the opportunity to purchase tickets.

Sales will end when all available seats have been allocated.

Tickets will not be available by phone.

Online purchases:

  • Visit tickets.peacecenter.org/Hamilton on a computer, tablet, or smart phone on Saturday, Sept. 8, before 9:59 AM.
  • You will be able to enter a virtual waiting room.
  • At 10 AM, everyone who is in the waiting room will be randomly assigned a place in the queue. THIS PROCESS IS RANDOM. THERE IS NO ADVANTAGE TO ARRIVING EARLY, AS LONG AS YOU ARE THERE BEFORE 10 AM.
  • After 10 AM, new people coming into the waiting room will be added to the end of the queue.
  • The waiting room browser tab will say Queue It, and the address bar will say audienceview.queue-it.net. Do not be concerned that it doesn’t say peacecenter.org. You’re in the right place!
  • You can enter your email address to be notified when it’s your turn to purchase. The email will come from [email protected]. From the time the email is sent, you’ll have 10 minutes to access the site to begin your purchase, so make sure you check your spam filter as well as your inbox.
  • Once you start the purchase process, you will have 15 minutes to complete your transaction. If you miss your window, you will have to start again at the end of the queue.
  • If you have four tickets in your cart, you won’t be able to look for different seats unless you remove them from your cart.
  • The name and address on the credit card you use to purchase tickets must match the name and address on your Peace Center account. Gift cards, including Peace Center gift cards, will not be accepted.
  • A handling fee will apply for online sales.

In person purchases:

  • Tickets can be purchased with cash or credit card. The name and address on the credit card must match the name and address on the Peace Center account. Cash purchases require a photo ID with a name that matches the name on the account. Checks and gift cards, including Peace Center gift cards, will not be accepted.
  • In person purchases are first come, first served and open to those 13 years old and older.
  • The line will begin at 7 AM on Saturday, Sept. 8, and no placeholding will be permitted.
  • No lines or lists formed before 7 AM will be honored, and no camping is permitted.
  • No disruptions to pedestrian or vehicle traffic will be tolerated.

What you can do now to prepare:

  • If purchasing online, make sure you have a My Account profile at peacecenter.org. If you have purchased tickets with us before – online, in person or by phone – you have an account. Now is the time to log in to make sure you remember your password. If you are new to the Peace Center, create an account now so it will be ready to go at the on sale. Peace Center representatives will not be available to assist with My Account the day of the on sale.
  • Identify which performances you’d be able to attend and have an idea of your top five. As tickets become limited, you may need to quickly change to a new desired performance. Do the same for your preferred price levels. A calendar and seating map can be viewed here.

**DON’T GET SCAMMED**

The Peace Center is the only official retailer for tickets to the Greenville engagement of Hamilton. Other sites have been listing tickets for months. These are likely speculative – the broker lists tickets with the hope that they’ll be able to secure them later and sell for a profit. You can usually tell that a ticket broker sale is speculative because it won’t include a specific row and seat number.

Please know that no physical tickets have been distributed yet.

If you purchase tickets from a vendor other than the Peace Center, we won’t be able to replace lost or stolen tickets, and your ticket might not be legitimate.

Important reminder - Each ticket has a one-of-a-kind barcode. Sharing this bar code online can compromise your tickets. If you share a picture of your tickets with anyone – especially on social media – make sure you #CoverTheCode and any other identifying information, including account number. Be sure to keep your tickets in a safe place.
