Read Up Greenville

Peace Center Campus

9:30 AM - 6:15 PM

Read Up, Greenville is a celebration of Young Adult and Middle Grades books and authors. There will be book sales, author signings, panel discussions, interactive experiences, and keynote speakers. The day will feature nine panels specific to different themes as well as a poetry workshop and maker space.

The event is free to all with the exception of the keynote events. Each keynote presentation is $7.00

Opening Keynote Libba Bray

October 21st at 9:30 am in the Gunter Theatre with book signing opportunity immediately following.

Libba Bray is the New York Times bestselling author of The Gemma Doyle trilogy (A great and Terrible Beauty, Rebel Angels, The Sweet Far Thing); the Michael L. Printz Award-winning Going Bovine; Beauty Queens, an L.A. Times Book Prize Finalist; and The Diviners series.

Closing Keynote Kwame Alexander

October 21st at 4:45pm in the Gunter Theatre with book signing opportunity immediately following.

Kwame Alexander is a poet, educator, and the New York Times Bestselling author of 24 books, including THE CROSSOVER, which received the 2015 John Newbery Medal for the Most Distinguished Contribution to American literature for Children, the Coretta Scott King Author Award Honor, The NCTE Charlotte Huck Honor, the Lee Bennett Hopkins Poetry Award, and the Paterson Poetry Prize.
