DESCRIPTION:Copeland formed in Lakeland, FL, from band members with wide and varied musical tastes. Their influences shaped the Copeland sound, an alt amalgam blending electronic and symphonic music with hard pop.  Copeland has toured with Brand New, Goo Goo Dolls, Bob Mould, Switchfoot, Motion City Soundtrack and Guster. Frontman Aaron Marsh helmed albums for Anberlin, Anchor & Braille, and Emarosa. Copeland’s albums Ixora and Blushing defined them as an ever-evolving “dreamo” band bridging the gaps among emo, indie rock, and ambient rock.
