Classical Ballet in a Modern World
Celebrating a commitment to classic heritage and new discovery.
With roots in the heartland of ballet's greatest stars and founded over a decade ago in Greenville's vibrant and increasingly multicultural community, International Ballet presents timeless dance treasures, reintroducing the classics and discovering new ways to tell stories through this exquisite art form. If you're new to ballet, prepare to be enamored... if you're a ballet fan, prepare to be impressed!
International Ballet’s 13th season celebrates the growth and history of our organization, led by Artistic Director Vlada Kysselova, noted for her ability to bring professionalism and precision to the stages of Greenville since 2004.
Opening with our annual Fall Chamber Concert on October 29 at the Kroc Center Theatre (visit our website for more details), International Ballet then comes to the Peace Center Concert Hall on December 9-11 to present The Nutcracker with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra - the traditional holiday classic that performed to sold-out audiences last year. International Ballet will also appear as guest artists in the Greenville Symphony Orchestra's Holiday at Peace production with several dance favorites personally selected by Maestro Edvard Tchivzhel.
In the spring, International Ballet brings a Mixed Bill of dance from classics to contemporary in Swan Lake & Other Works, with something for everyone to enjoy on April 21-22, 2017 at the Gunter Theatre.
