Our Impact

Since 1990, the Peace Center has been the place to be for culture, entertainment, performing arts, and arts education in Greenville, South Carolina. Right away, the whole community embraced such a vibrant arts scene, creating a flashpoint that spurred the revitalization of downtown Greenville to what we know today.

With an estimated cumulative economic impact of $957.7 million on Greenville County and nearly $1.1 billion for the state of South Carolina, the Peace Center continues to serve as a driving force in our community's prosperity.

As we remain dedicated to our mission to enrich the lives of everyone we meet, the Peace Center opened two new venues, an arts education studio, and Artist Dorms in 2026. We’re committed to enhancing the cultural vibrancy and prosperity of all people in our city and our state.
