Event Details
Storytelling comes alive in three unique ways for one spellbinding production.
1911’s great mystery of “Who Stole the Mona Lisa?” is brought to life through Micah Chambers Goldberg’s animated fantasy short film, accompanied by Igor Stravinsky's magical suite from The Firebird live on solo piano. Picasso may have been accused of this crime, but this intriguing piece of history takes a colorful turn.
The adventures of storytelling continue with narration of Stravinsky’s The Soldier’s Tale and musical selections from George Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess. The program will feature the artistry of Peace Center Artist-in-Residence clarinetist Igor Begelman, virtuoso pianist Alexandre Moutouzkine, and two-time Grammy® nominated violinist Jesse Mills.
