Event Details
Formed in Boston in 1986, Pixies redefined alternative rock with their signature blend of jagged guitar work, surreal lyricism, and explosive quiet-to-loud dynamics that would go on to influence generations of artists.
From their earliest club performances, Pixies delivered a raw, electrifying sound—stripped of theatrics but full of intensity. Their debut releases, Come On Pilgrim and Surfer Rosa, introduced audiences to a bold new sonic landscape, while 1989’s Doolittle propelled the band into wider acclaim with its mix of haunting melodies and offbeat pop sensibilities. Albums like Bossanova and Trompe le Monde further cemented their reputation as innovators before their initial split in 1993.
When Pixies reunited in 2004, the response was immediate and overwhelming. Sold-out shows and festival appearances—including a landmark performance at Coachella—proved their music had not only endured but grown in impact. Since then, the band has continued to evolve, releasing a string of acclaimed albums and captivating audiences around the world with their powerful live performances.
Now featuring founding members Black Francis, Joey Santiago, and David Lovering, alongside bassist Emma Richardson, Pixies continue to deliver the same unpredictable energy that defined their earliest shows. Their concerts remain a masterclass in tension and release—songs shifting from delicate whispers to thunderous crescendos in an instant.
Forty years on, Pixies are as vital and influential as ever. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience one of alternative music’s most iconic bands live in concert.
