Kenny Wayne Shepherd caught the world's attention as a teenage blues prodigy. Now, a respected master, he returns to the album that started it all, Ledbetter Heights. Shepherd re-recorded this landmark first album in honor of its 30th anniversary and launched a national tour. This show includes a performance of the full 12-track album along with another set featuring highlights from his 30-year career.
- Ledbetter Heights is named in honor of an historic neighborhood in Shepherd’s hometown that pays homage to another blues great and Northwest Louisiana native, Huddie Ledbetter.
- Signed at 16, Shepherd recorded Ledbetter Heights while he was in high school. He went to school Monday through Wednesday and then drove to Memphis to track the album.
