Climb aboard with Sons of Town Hall and disappear into their world-building mythical musical adventure across the Seven Seas. Songwriters David Berkeley and Ben Parker transform into Josiah Chester Jones and George Ulysses Brown, two Victorian-age troubadours sailing the world on a boat of their own making. They’ll sing songs and tell tales of their adventures, spinning you into their world that is “nothing short of stunning” (Liz Schwartz, Cambridge Folk Festival).
- “Think Simon & Garfunkel lost at sea, and you get a sense of the mythic world at play here.” -- Philadelphia Inquirer
- Sons of Town Hall produce their own radio theater podcast, Madmen Cross the Water. Give it a listen to discover the treat that is Sons of Town Hall.
- George Ulysses Brown hails from a long line of butchers in the South of England. Josiah Chester Jones fled Kentucky after denouncing the Southern cause in the Civil War, stowing away on a merchant ship bound for London. In London, their paths cross, changing both of their fates forever.
