An Evening of Original Music with Edwin McCain, Maia Sharp, and Randy Sharp
Genevieve's Theatre Lounge
The Peace Center is excited to welcome Edwin McCain and Maia Sharp back to Genevieve’s for an intimate evening of original music. They will be joined on stage by special guest Randy Sharp. Get up close and personal with all three incredible artists in this unique listening room experience.
After recording two of the biggest love songs in the history of pop music (“I’ll Be” and “I Could Not Ask For More”), beloved Greenville native McCain now performs upwards of 100 shows annually throughout the U.S. as a solo artist. Maia Sharp is an acclaimed songwriter, with songs recorded by Bonnie Raitt, Trisha Yearwood, Cher, McCain, and Art Garfunkel.
Randy Sharp has had hits recorded by Restless Heart, Clay Walker, Alabama, and Patti Loveless. As a father/daughter duo, Randy and Maia have enjoyed diverse songwriting careers, working both together and separately. The Dixie Chicks’ recording of “Home” is one of their greatest collaborative successes.
