Greenville: Where Water Flows

“Where Water Flows” is an orchestral work and film that traces Greenville’s history, spotlighting iconic landmarks and Greenville’s dazzling downtown. Commissioned by the Peace Center to honor the Greenville Symphony Orchestra’s 75th anniversary, the piece was composed by Greenville-native and Furman University graduate Bob Farnsworth.

“The Greenville Symphony is a treasure for our community,” said Megan Riegel, the Peace Center’s president and CEO. “As a longtime partner, the Peace Center wanted to do something meaningful to help celebrate their 75th anniversary. What better way than to commission a special piece of music from one of the country’s most prolific composers? The artfully arranged composition, and the film it is set to, is a gift for our friends at the symphony and the entire community.”

At its heart, “Where Water Flows” is a love letter to Greenville. Read more here.
