The Carolina Youth Symphony will once again sit side by side with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, 5:00pm, Sunday, October 27th at the Peace Center Concert Hall. Under the baton of CYS Conductor Emeritus, Leslie W. Hicken, the Symphony Orchestra will be joined by guest artist, Buddy Deshler, professor of trumpet, Furman University, performing the engaging Tico-Tico by Zequinha de Abreu.
The Concert Orchestra conducted by Mr. James F. Kilgus and the Repertory Orchestra conducted by Mrs. Ginger R. Greer, will also be featured on the concert performing selections by Anderson. Balmages, Glière, Grieg, Newbold. Saint-Saëns and Tchaikovsky.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
