Dance Theatre of Greenville

Dance Theatre of Greenville embodies an exciting new direction for young Greenville-based dancers to obtain pre-professional experience and showcase their talents. With a training belief rooted in classical technique, DTG dancers express dance with infinite possibility.

DTG dancers are well rounded, proficient in many forms, and model a supportive environment where dancers and choreographers thrive together. The dancers of DTG are some of Greenville’s most gifted artists and seek to bring the arts to our community.

They can be seen dancing in Themis (2017) and Henri (2018), both original full-length productions performed at The Peace Center’s Gunter Theatre in Greenville, SC as well as at the North Charleston’s Art Festival in North Charleston, SC.

Directed by Cindy Nunweiler, DTG Performance Company is housed within the
Dance Theatre of Greenville. With over 30 years of teaching and choreography experience, Cindy has mentored students in all genres of dance training. She has been awarded numerous choreography awards, served as a guest choreographer for Furman University's Dance Company, and was a featured artist for the South Carolina Dance Masters Association. Cindy's passion for dance education created DTG for all levels of dancers with the vision to be an inspiration to young people through the art of movement.

Cindy holds her BA in Dance from DeSales University and frequents New York City for training and conferences.
