Peace Voices
Peace Voices is the home for dynamic and insightful artistic engagement and dialogue. Through diverse offerings in spoken word, film, lectures, and performance, Peace Voices creates a vibrant community and courageous conversations.
The Peace Center’s Community Engagement initiatives seek to tell stories, amplify voices, educate and inspire through the arts. Our aim in community engagement is to create a more inclusive Peace Center by partnering with organizations to increase accessibility to programming, to represent the vast diversity of our community, and to be a welcoming space for all to experience performing arts.

Introduce your students to the Peace Center through our Peace Passport Field Trips! Our arts programs invite young learners to become global citizens in an active exploration of world music, dance, and theater.
A first of its kind, this program provides students with instruction and mentorship from world-class artists in dance, jazz, and classical music, with the goal of significantly enhancing their confidence and achievement as young artists.
The four-week program culminates in demonstrations and performances at the Peace Center.
Generously supported, in part, by Forrest A. and Maryann C. Abbott Endowment at the Community Foundation of Greenville.
These performances prepare up-and-coming student musicians for a career in the arts and entertainment industry by providing them a resume-building, professional opportunity to perform in paid settings.
Learn from the Masters! Emerging artists are given valuable access to world-class performers in the fields of music, dance, and musical theater. Master classes provide coaching and mentoring to assist young artists in reaching their artistic and professional goals.
Cultural master classes and workshops are free for ticket holders of the accompanying performances. Participants grow from personal feedback while observers gain a unique insight into the mind of a professional musician and the mastery necessary to achieve a high-quality performance.
In partnership with several community agencies & schools, The Farr Fund seeks to provide students from under resourced schools and communities with exposure to the performing arts. Students are gifted Broadway tickets to enjoy an evening with their family.
Peace Perks is generously underwritten by the Farr family.
